Due to this special date, I have decided to post! =) *cheers* *applause* So I shall recount what happened today. There was the connect Singapore thing in the morning, very HORRIBLE, 3 hours of waiting!!! Then, was the rush off to the reunion, and hurrah, Naman got his chauffeur to drive him, me, Shaowu and Deepak to Jelita for the initial meet-up. Then, we decided to go to Holland Village after that, as some people complained about eating at O'brian's. When we got there, decisions were STILL not made. We finally chose to eat at Subway. We ate there and then I and most of the rest had to wait for an hour before moving off. Then we went to the cinema to watch the show. We watched "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" it was a good show, the graphics were great, I give it a 3.5/5. The storyline pulled it down a bit, and the fact that some parts did not make sense. [Warning, spoilers alert!] The characters, after following the birds into the underground world, left their bags far behind, and a minute later, they magically reappear with their bags. [Warning! Science Content] (Taken shamelessly from Mythbusters. There was no copyright anyway) Then, there was also the thing at the end where he lights the veins of magnesium, they actually fizzled out and the reaction could not have restarted, as the energy would no longer be there to bond the magnesium to the Oxygen molecules in the air. What's more, he stared directly at the magnesium as it oxidised rapidly (Ok, for non-science buffs, "Burned"), he did not go blind, amazing. This is because even a small amount of magnesium, about a few grams, is enough to cause temporary blindness. The amount shown would be more than enough to be compared to a military grade flashbang(Stun grenade) So to conclude, it was a great reunion. Can't wait for the next one! =D

Ok, where did I stop at... oh yeah, Day 2 started off with PT, which was kinda more fun than the previous day's. Then breakfast(canned kaya and bread). Cheer test(For campfire). And I just HAD to volunteer to be one of 5 cheer ICs... (I would regret that later at night) Make and practice a skit for the campfire. Then lunch(canned food+Maggi mee). Then it was briefing before the hike (we were allowed 1 bus ride in the hike)... And the hike. My group hiked from RI to Hougang Point and back to Serangoon and then back to Hougang to take a bus back to Junction 8. (Doesn't sound like much does it? Well, just try it, just look in the street directory, the distance covers 3 pages.) Then, run back to RI with everyone sore... Dinner (you guessed it, more maggi mee and canned food...) Then we had the campfire, which amazingly was the first held in 10++ years. And sure enough, they could not get it going and ended up having to douse the campfire in one and a half bottles of kerosene and solid fuel before it started to burn. Then, lightning flashed across the heavens and the teacher had to evacuate us to the junior block atrium. (The campfire only burned for about 10 minutes in total, what a waste...) Then, continuation of skits and cheers. Then, our Daniel sir had to come around, hear some complaints from our sec 3 ICs and... Tekan us for abt 30 to 40 min with push ups, scolding, constantly switching between push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches within a few seconds. Then we had our water games, with was quite fun, but before we had another round of station games(Opppss, forgot to mention that we had station games on the first day) Then we played the actual water games, highly refeshing, lots of water all over the place. Then the seniors threw water bombs at us. (I wanted to be at the front with a few others, some tried to duck behind... I wonder why. I was so refreshing, maybe it was because they did not want to be soaked with cold water at 11+p.m. at night...) Well, then it was back to the tents to sleep. Whew, lots more, I may post the cheers also but it will have to be tomorrowBye.P.s Stay tuned. And some cheers were modified to be very obsene and vulgar, so I can only send them to you if you request, privately.

Ok, back from training today and camp yesterday... The camp was three days of "fun", or more accurately, crap. When we reached there, the first thing we were asked to do was to unpack everything within 20-30s and back in 20-30s for bag check repeatedly and getting shouted at... Not a good start. Next was PT, it was exercise that seemed bad at the start, but in comparison to what would soon happen, it was relaxing... Vomited halfway through, along with a few others and got to miss part of PT(yay...) Next was tent pitching, which was rather fun, hammering pegs into the ground, pulling them out and repeating for practice was relaxing...(ah...) Then, it was time to come up with a group name, group cheer and group flag... The theme was animals... My group came up with "Pegasus"... (Don't ask...) And then it was lunch, which was Maggi noodles and canned food... eaten out of three mess tins with 5 in the group... (this applies for every other meal except breakfast which was canned kaya(yes, canned) and bread(no, thankfully not canned)) Then was learning various cheers... (not going to post them unless requested) Then something I forgot, then wash-up, dinner. Next, the movie "Shutter", a Thailand horror film, which was not scary at all to me, can't say the same about most of the squad, some were petrified... And then it was the night walk(not scary) and solo night(not scary, but the school grounds are bloody uncomfortable to sleep on...) And some were afraid, so they requested not to take part, but compromised to be allowed to sleep at well-lit areas, they were namely Zhe Heng, Pei Kun and Heng Kee. Then it was sleep for the next 3 hours before a sudden fire drill at 1.30 a.m. in the morning with plenty of pumping(trust me, it was horrible, they make you remain in push-up position all the time) And 2 ppl had to go missing... so we had to do pumping for that, and strangely enough, they did not! Then it was to the tents to sleep. (Btw, no sleeping bags allowed in camp).
Phew, that was the first day, will post the next tomorrow, stay tuned.
Btw, the nuclear fusion thing can be requested to continue after the camp posts

This shall be one short post. I shall discuss about the feasibility of nuclear fusion as a potential source of energy in the near future. As we should already know, sustained nuclear fusion with out current technology is impossible, as it requires generating and sustaining temperatures and pressures that would destroy anything it is contained in (except maybe in the future with strong magnetic fields or such). The next problem would be to generate enough of each type of hydrogen isotopes, namely hydrogen, deuterium, and tritium. The important isotopes required would be hydrogen and deuterium. Hmmm... I think I shall continue next post, not enough time left, stay tuned...Triva: The greatest mass extintion in the history of the earth was more than 250 million years ago, the Permian-Triassic extinction wiped out 95 percent of marine life and 70 percent of life on land, making it the greatest mass extinction in history.

Ok, I'm a little short of subject matter to talk about here, so... Let's discuss about the quantum states of matter. We'll start with the topic of superconductivity and superfluidity, or maybe not, you might be bored by it, thus this leads us to random trivia!

11. The past-tense of the English word “dare” is “durst”.
And these are true except for the banging of head one of which I am not very sure about.

Ah... I have decided to post today and stop procrastinating. Today we went for a Learning Journey to the Hua Song museum. Well, turns out that we were the only class who was going there, so we had a bus and museum all to ourselves =). Over at the museum(It is located next to Haw Par Villa(if that's how you spell it), we were given a worksheet to do...-_-" The curator who took us on a tour of the museum had a constant habit of sticking his toungue out at random moments, which was quite(ok, VERY) strange. Then, after the museum visit, we went back to school and got dissmissed at 11.10a.m. =). I strolled around the school for a while before going to eat at Subway at Junction 8.(The sandwiches and cookies are really nice). Btw, did you know that MM Lee is a Hakka? Well, short post today, bye for now...Disclaimer: The stop procastinating part does not apply to the updating of links...

I have kept my promise and posted again(YAY!)=). Well, yesterday something happened to me AGAIN. It happens very often and it is often boring... It is a wedding dinner of a cousin of mine of which I never knew existed... I have NO idea why most of cousins are SO old?!?!? Most of them are in their twenties! Except for a few who are my age or younger... (Btw, I have noticed that I am taller and larger than nearly all of the relatives I saw)=). Oh and in the morning of yesterday, I went to take X-rays to check if there was any lower spinal injuries due to a swimming injury that was taking very long to heal...(those who know what happened, you will understand this better). Well, it shall be a short post today, and to those out there, sorry if I forgot to link you, I'll do that later. Tschüs. (That's german for bye)

Fine, you people win! I'm back from hiding again*applause*. Well, quite a lot happened recently, so I think I cover the two most recent things . On Monday, we had sports day. Unfortunately, I had to do CIP as my CCA(NPCC) had to help out with the various tasks. My job was to lead the competitors to the starting line and hand them over to the judges. It's not as glorified as you might think. After a few hours of that and a few other errands later, we sat around waiting to be dismissed. But they wanted us to help bring the things back to school...So I had to leave from school 30 minutes later... But I got to handle all the trophies they are a lot heavier than they look, or maybe it's because they placed all of them in a large basket... Btw, the Champion trophy is a great sound amplifier(yes I got to fool around with it) and could blast music out really well. The next incident was yesterday, when it rained ****ing heavily on my way to the MOELC for 3rd language... I was soaked, my shoes were filled with water and it did not help that my books were soggy or the fact that my shoes had foam cushioning(ever tried walking on wet sponges?) Not to mention my leather wallet soften due to the excess moisture... At least it was only temporary and went off a little today. Well, I'm going to sleep soon and I'm finishing off my Geog worksheet, so I'll have to end off here today...(OMG this is fun! I should post more often)
P.s I can hear your laughter out there after the last comment=)
